This Petition is to return school to the way it use to be when Tappan wasn't "Wildcat Disappointed." Where students could leave seminar/advisory to seek help from teachers or use the restroom. Where we never ha d to use a QR Code because teachers and administration trusted us to be smart and responsible when we left their classes. And where we could sit in the halls before late start Wednesday and chat with our friends. Please sign to regain the school we have lost into the world of lock-downs and no hope.

The administration has acknowledged the current level of engagement regarding our concerns about hall policies. I am finalizing a formal letter to the principal to request a meeting on these specific restrictions.

I just want help with understanding a lesson like how regular seminar let us do, instead of being stuck doing literally nothing for 25 minutes because I can't go to the teacher I need to.
The strictness is getting ridiculous like we are in prison not school. Just let us go see teachers when we actually need help its not that hard to understand.
The time we were given to see teachers is a necessary time for people who actually need the time. Without having to cut time out of their lives.
It stinks having nothing to do in class, then get yelled at for not doing anything even though I can't do anything because I can't see the teacher I need.
I am all for that. Just push for students and students can push for the paras and the parents. Teacher can't have a part in this tho.
This has been something that concerned me for some time now.

As a student athlete, it is very challenging to get with teachers if I have to leave early for a game or meet. On top of that I am a member of the FFA and compete in events in the spring. Without seminar the teams and myself are unable to get the proper teaching in our events. Seminar is our time to get with teachers and ask questions.
