Why take away the good away from the high school? Is it because the staff feels threatened that these youth have a safe place to be or have someone who they can talk to about problems.

We need HOPEyouth. Why should we take away something good from our community. April and Pete have already done so much for the youth in the community. I can say we've all become better people in someways because of them. They taught us so much, gave advice and we're there for us when no one else was around. If it wasn't for April and Pete's love, caring, advice and teachings... I'd be a total different person. I'm so thankful for them and I don't want to see HOPEyouth gone as the new generations of our youth would miss out on this amazing opportunity to get to know April and Pete. They won't get to see what they can do for the youth in our community :(. BRING BACK HOPEYOUTH!!

From what my children and my cousins have told me there is nothing but positive encouragement etc from this group. what exactly is the reason that the head of board of Ed is keeping them out of highschool especially when it's on a volunteer basis, if the board is cutting so many teachers out of school shouldn't we be encouraging volunteers? Shameful

I didn't know about this program, wish I knew it was there, I have a teen at home that could of benefited from something like this, as it is I've had to move him off of Wiky due to lack of programs here. Yes, keep the program, it's free too, and obviously care about our youth!

As a proud parent of 2 of my children that were in this youth group, I am very displeased that it is stopped, my daughters have been and are still are inspired by this group. Please reconsider bringing back the HOPE youth group back!!!!

I have seen first hand the good work that HOPE Youth leads there in Wiki. There efforts are very much appreciated by the students, open the doors for HOPE Youth.

All I can SAY is to The Wiky Board of Education is to have to have the HOPEyouth into school. It Benefitted my Son for the past 8 years. Miigwetch

I love this group and the group of people that run it. These guys are amazing and just who they are is awesome! I mean, I've been going to these things for a while and I have gotten to know them and they are really absolutely awesome people! What they do for us, the youth, in our community is great! I have no idea why the board would not want them at the school. But whatever the problem is.. It could be solved in a simple matter and not just cutting them off from the school(s) just like that. What they do for the youth in our community is great! They go out of their own way to help us out and they are there if we need help when we don't feel safe to talk to anyone else. They're really great people and they're there to help our youth get involved in so many activities and show them how awesome life is! They volunteer to help kids get back on their saddle and keep on keeping on. So I'd like to say thanks to Pete, April, Sean, James and Ariana coming out and going out of their own way to come and be involved just to show how fun life can be and what we can do for our youth. The people and adults in our community ask for youth to stand up. Well here's the Youth standing up for youth! We have found something that let's the youth in our community to find their calling because these guys are inspiring and I am happy to say these group of people have led me to do awesome things with my life alone and what they have done for my girlfriend, Daniella. So again, thanks for HOPEyouth for being such an impact on the youth in our community! Let's bring them back!
