The small field attached to number 166 Middle Road, Sholing
is greatly valued by local residents as an attractive green space. It is also a
valuable haven for wildlife.
Building houses on the land would increase traffic
congestion, disrupt the wildlife corridor that links into the Miller’s Pond
Local Nature Reserve and possibly obstruct drainage on the steep ground.
I oppose the building of any permanent structures on the
site.
**UPDATE**
I would like to make it very clear that we are not petitioning against Frank's family. We have no quarrel with them personally. If you are a member of the family I would be very grateful if you can please make contact with me.
To build on this land will be ridiculous, that whole strip of area both sides of the road are beautiful to walk down. Will our future generations have no natural green areas to enjoy?? I remember moving to the area 16yrs ago and walking past to watch the sheep grazing and chat about plants.
