WE WON AND PARKING IS FINALLY FREE FOR EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE AT MACARTHUR CENTER!! I AM ABSOLUTELY THRILLED THAT THE CITY LISTENED TO US AND ENDED THESE UNFAIR FEES FOR GOOD!! KEEP WATCHING THE GARAGES TO ENSURE THEY HONOR THIS NEW POLICY IMMEDIATELY!
I believe that making the employees pay to park is highly unreasonable and unfair. Without its employees, the mall would fail to function. The cost of parking in downtown Norfolk can really take a toll on ones pocket, especially if they're only making minimum wage. Therefore, I believe it should be a courtesy from the city of Norfolk to allow free parking in the MacArthur Center garages for the mall's employees.
I agree. Having a job where I work several hours and am paying $3-$10 every shift really make a huge dent in what I’m making.

It makes no sense for employees to pay. Without the employees, who’s running the mall?

Work at TDB. When working doubles parking can come out to 10 dollars due to not being able to move my vehicle

I love this because paying almost 10 every day or $55 for a monthly pass with a pt position really is like a rip off. The employees working in the mall help keep business coming to it therefore we should be free. The people we pay get to park for free and that's not fair at all

I think having to pay out of the mall is quite a bit much i mean seriously i didnt ask to pay to work im basically giving my money back that i worked for. Not everyday i spend money. A monthly pass still means your paying basically. I havent worked in the mall a month and im already looking for a new job. Very inconvenient for minimum wage workers.
