We, the undersigned, are extremely disturbed by the unjust and discriminative treatment against Black, Latino and other laborers who have tried to change the unfair conditions and the appalling conduct at Woodlawn Cemetery. We are petitioning and demanding that the Woodlawn Cemetery Board of Trustees take immediate action in stopping the blatant discrimination and unwarranted treatment towards the Woodlawn Cemetery workers. We demand that the management members who have created this hostile work environment; and who are using excessive and unwarranted actions against their workers be terminated immediately. There is no reason for this type of discriminatory behavior to go unpunished; this conduct cannot continue to be over looked by the executive management and must be correctly dealt with at once.

Updates

July 6, 2010

The momentum is undeniable. Management can no longer claim they do not see the problem.
