My niece started spanish in kindergarten and she picks it up way faster than I ever did in high school.

Kids should be learning chinese or spanish from day one. It helps with everything else in school.

wish I had started younger. now it is so hard to get the accent right.

Languages are easier to lean the younger a person is, so it makes sense to start them earlier than high school or middle school.
