- This is a petition for the OCPS (Florida) school dress code to be changed. Many students have been dress coded and most of the time, it is for the wrong reasons and is basically pointless. Countless hours of learning time have been spent on changing their clothes, or waiting for clothes to be dropped off. The following is the new draft the we have proposed. (tinyurl.com/stop-the-sexism) Please help us out! Our first milestone is 1,000 and we can do it!! If you know ANYONE who goes to school in our county, spread the word! Tell your friends! Thank you for supporting me on this journey. boys barely get dress code even if they got rips on there pants or a tang top but if a girl comes in wearing a tang top or ripped jeans we automatically get in trouble
Dress code is useless and is used for the wrong reasons. I can get if I wear short shirt showing my butt. But wearing slides, crop tops, tank tops, bandanas doesn’t harm our community or show anything revealing
My cousin once got dress codes bc her teacher thought she was show skin where she rolled up her Jean's IT WAS HER FREAKING ANKLE
I believe that the dress code of ocps is too strict and ridiculous... i feel as if the students can not able to express them selves much anymore. i would hope that they could be able to wear 2 finger strapped shirt and would lay back on how high a dresses and ripped jeans can be to be in dress code especially when i comes to taller students..... it is un fake
This dress code is completely out of hand. we are getting in trouble almost daily because to teachers , the boys in school use our amount or type of clothing as sexual use. instead of limiting what we wear , teach the boys to not sexualize our clothing or just learn that no matter what clothes we wear boys will always sexualize us females.

I really want to wear what I want and not waist money on something I can’t wear to school.
