In Bradenton, Florida, everyone knows that SR 70, crossing over to Fairway Gardens, is very dangerous, especially since the high school and the Sunset Village both let out there.
The kids are the worst. They see that you've been sitting a while to cross over and they pull out right in front of you. They don't seem to care.
Well... Here's one who should have cared.
We were filming for the State. I have complained to every level, except the governor. I'm ready to start bugging him. It's a STATE road! We need help. There should be no crossover. That would surely help.
The goal is NO MORE accidents!

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the attention this is finally getting. It is clear that I am not the only one who sees the danger at this crossing. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who took a moment to show they care.

We live very close to this intersection and hear all the collisions and all of the horns and hard braking all hours of the day and night!
I to go the long way around as I have seen to many accidents or near misses due to people just not being patient!
This intersection is extremely dangerous. People will be killed if something isn’t done. Serious accidents happen often
Red light needed desperately and quickly !
It’s a nightmare. Someone is going to get killed, and it will likely be a young person with their whole life ahead of them..
I use to live in fairway gardens it is very dangerous in front of the school

Install a red light at that intersection. Don't wait until someone gets killed. A lot of the traffic turning off and onto SR 70 are Braden River High School students and parents .
