We the people an community of Ovett Mississippi demand something be done about the bad curve on highway. The intersection of Ovett moselle road and highway 15. There's been two wrecks in the last two weeks. Adults and children have been hurt bad. There have been deaths there over the years something needs to be done. Family and friends cross there everyday our kids cross there on the school bus. We the people of Ovett demand something be done before it claims another life. Hundreds of cars cross everyday church members cross there. It's dangeous something has to be done.

Seeing this kind of momentum brings me back to the nights I spent worrying about my own family crossing that intersection. People are finally paying attention to the danger we face every single day.

I have seen alot of bad wrecks at this site. I was almost hit there yesterday afternoon by two log trucks. Could not see them and when got in road they were on me fast. Both turn offs to Ovett on Hwy 15 need to be fixed so you can see. Grass also needs to be kept cut.
Let's keep these kids safe, our school buses crosses this dangerous hwy everyday, God help us all if one of them gets hit!!! You can't see nothing because of the hills and grass that grows there!! Fix it!!! Make it right!!!!
Something definitely needs to be done here! I won't even let my family use that entrance/exit because of the deaths, wrecks, and tragedies that happen there more often than not.
I have lived at Ovett for 39 years i couldn't. Tell u how many wreck there has been something has to be done it was a miracle that my grandaugthers weren't killed i thank u lord
I was one of the 4 young girls in the wreck. It was scary and it was not our fault nor the other lady's. The road needs to be fixed before someone is killed.

I was involved in one of the MANY wrecks up there on Hwy 15, SOMETHING definitely needs to be done to that curved before we loose a lot of our friends and family. Fix it please.

This is a very dangerous crossing..poorly designed by the Mississippi highway dept.. It's the state's responsibility to make our roads and highways safe. ..Jones county closed a railroad crossing after a person was killed,,and cut a hill down to make it safe where 2 teenagers were killed. It's time the state highway dept. step up and do what's right.
