"A cable television employee shot and killed a dog that he said was charging at him while attempting to do some work at a house on Stewart Rd. Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff ’s deputies reported the man is a subcontract employee of the cable company. The Northville resident told deputies that he was in fear of his safety and the chocolate Labrador retriever was being aggressive. However, others who knew the dog told deputies it never showed signs of being aggressive before. The dog’s owner lives next door to where the cable TV employees were working. According to reports, the owner said his dog almost never leaves the yard. The owner was securing a second dog as the workers approached when a gunshot was heard. The employee came to the back yard from in front of the house and said he shot the dog. The employee told deputies that the dog kept coming at him and he felt the need to protect himself. Reports said the dog was shot in the head and died instantly. It was not clear if the man was carrying the weapon legally and if criminal charges are being sought. Investigation is continuing."

Total coward. Why is a cable guy even carrying a gun on a job site? Need to get this guy off the streets and away from people's homes.
