Activities and conditions occurring at 9851 I-10 Service Rd, 5700 Crowder Blvd, 7300 Read Blvd Suite A and 9711 Chef Menteur Hwy all of which are located in Eastern New Orleans are injurious to the public health and welfare; based on some interference with the interests of the community and the comfort or convenience of the general public has risen to the level of a public nuisance. Therefore, both the property owners and operators have failed perform their legal duties in regards City Code §66- 282(a) §66-282(b) & §66-285. The litter ordinance is violated by dumping, leaving, throwing, discarding, or otherwise permitting the intentional or accidental dumping, leaving, throwing, discarding, ejection, emission, or escape of any glass or metallic objects, trash, refuse, garbage or other solid waste on any private property within the city. The owner is responsible for sweeping up garbage, trash, litter, and all other waste material from the premises, sidewalks, and abutting property, including the space between the property line and the curbline in front, extending 1 ½ feet from the curbline into the street or roadway and in the rear and alongside the premises.City Code §66-287.

Herby petitions the city of New Orleans to take such necessary actions to enforce Sec. 3-41. - Public nuisance cause for suspension, revocation, or nonrenewal of permit of the City Charter on the property owner and operator of business, who are in violation with Sections 10-157 and 66-282 of the City Charter.
