This petition is to demand a fairer system for responsible parents and comes in 2. Parts:
Firstly, to demand that the proposed fining of responsible parents taking their child out of school for a family holiday. The cost of a basic holiday for the average working family has become unaffordable due to over inflated prices during school holidays and family holidays as a family unit are just as important as education.
Secondly, to abolish the unfair system, whereby those on benifits receive school trips at a fraction of the price of working families. A very unfair and un necessary system

A holiday can be an education to learning is not all about being in a classroom.
Some parents can't get time off work during the summer holidays, surely family time is important too!!
