I believe that children should not be taken away from their fathers unless there is actual, immediate evidence that the CHILDREN are at threat from their father. Mothers should not be allowed to take the children and then leave the fathers without anyway to contact their children for months. All whilst the children and father are suffering and left confused about their future.
What happened to innocent until proven guilty?!
If a mother decides to leave her partner that is her choice but it should not giver her the right to take the children.
Why should a mother have more rights than a father, they should be given equal rights to their children. Is a father only good enough for maintenance? I would greatly appreciate it if you would please add your opinion on this matter.

The increase in support has captured the attention of a national legal advocacy group that provides policy briefing support. I have scheduled a preliminary call with their lead counsel to discuss submitting a formal proposal for legislative reform.

100% agree. Why is it always assumed the mother gets the kids by default? Times have changed.
It is 2017 and this is still happening. Dads are just as important as mums. Stop treating us like second class parents.
So true. Children need their dads. Alienation is abuse.
Keep fighting for this. My kids are my life and I would be lost without them. No father should have to deal with this headache.
Finally someone speaking up about this. Courts dont care about the father's side at all. It needs a total overhaul.

My husband went through exactly this. It destroyed him. The system is so broken and biased against men it really makes me sick.
