The parents of Bridlington School children should have the right to buy school trousers or skirts without logos from whichever retailer they see fit.
Please sign this petition to be handed to the head teacher and governors of Bridlington School, to explain that we the parents, do not and will not support the new uniform implementation and require the old system to remain in place. We believe that this uniform change is penalising the whole school, for the misbehaviour of the few children that refuse to follow the current uniform rules.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one frustrated by these unnecessary costs. It has been a long and draining week but knowing so many other parents feel this same burden keeps me moving forward.

I think k and a' s trousers are overpriced and poor quality. I have 4 children to buy uniform for and the Brid school trousers are going to increase an already very large expense to the point that I am going to struggle to afford it. It's ridiculous!
Two kids at Brid school this sept both needing 2 pair of trousers each !!! £80 before we even look at the rest of the uniform !!!! I havent got money to burn... its the minority spoiling it for the majority ! Save your fashion pants for your days off and holidays !
I'm a single mum with 3 children, one of which is disabled an they expect me to pay for trousers at £19.50 a pair well does that mean my son and daughter have to starve or go without nappies to clothe their sister for school.
It's making things harder for us parents it's disgusting. It's all about education not logos!!!! They are on the tops you don't need them on the trousers it's hard enough to find trousers to fit each individual child as it is!!
I support this petition. It is like history repeating itself. I did battle with the school in the 1990s about their uniform policy which was narrowminded and too expensive for lower income families to afford back then. Sad to see nothing changes.
I believe in a strict uniform but not when every item is nearly £20 ... when you have more than one child to buy for this becomes very costly,especially with no help to pay for the items and having to shop at specific places to get it all. As for girls,I don't see the issue with girls wearing skirts as long as they are appropriate and it doesn't look like a belt. What you wear does not effect your work within school.
Signed due to one pair of trousers with tiny logo on costs me £20 for one pair. Logo is small and can't even see it when jumpers on. Bigger issues that school need to deal with other than this.eg bullying.

Many parents will only be able to afford one pair of trousers for £20! What happens when they rip midweek and parents cant get to the ONE shop that sells them? The child will be put in a isolation room and treat like a criminal due to this disgusting rule!
