Local residents are outraged at the way Central Bedfordshire Council is pushing through housing development plans in Biggleswade with scant regard for the Local Plan which is meant to guide future development.
What we need is meaningful dialogue with local people on the scale and nature of development in Biggleswade which has already seen large scale housing and commercial development over the last few years. It should not be taking the easy option of developing Biggleswade because it happens to own large areas of land in the area. We are asking Central Bedfordshire Council for a balanced approach to development across the county and meaningful consultation with local residents.If you feel the same please take time to support the petition.
