Coronavirus has disrupted our learning and ability to access the library and research for our courseworks. Please extend the deadlines.
Due to the stress, panic and difficulties of the the situation that the COVID-19 has created worldwide and nationwide, we need extended deadlines for our coursework. This situation is having a substantial impact on students’ mental health and we need University of Westminster to support us and ensure we will do well in our assessments.
Library services are slow which restricting research eg when I requested a PDF copy of a book
Need an extension!! I can’t do my work as I relied on the universities Libary and now that will be closed !
being affected by coronavirus myself and close members of my family, with talks of not only the whole country coming to a lockdown, but the whole world, i believe that it is only right that the university considers extending third year deadlines such as dissertations and courseworks to cater for the unique ongoing issues people are going through.
It is currently our final year of university and I think it is really unfair if we are expected to meet the current deadlines and take the exams end of April/May when we have not had the chance to be taught efficiently. Our grades are something we cannot change. With the current situation, our mental health has not been its best in addition to then being expected to preform our best on ‘online exams’ which we still don’t have any further information on is giving me constant anxiety. It is a real shame that the university has not postponed the exams at the very least. Please take this into consideration. We were all under a lot of stress as it is and would greatly appreciate an extension due to these unforeseen circumstances. Even if the exam is pushed back a couple of weeks, that seems good enough! Thank you.

If the government can extend the mayor's elections for a year I'm sure they can agree to your extension
