From current feedback as Level 3 Representative for Motorsport Engineering I have been receiving a significant amount of feedback regarding the current dissertation deadline of March 27th 2019. Many myself included feel that this deadline should be moved back to after the Easter break, as per last years cohort and the rest of the University. This will allow students better freedom to plan their work load and hope fully relieve some of the stress that I know you are feeling.
It should also be noted that all students should aim to complete the dissertation to the current deadline to allow for increased revision time.

The administration is finally starting to pay attention to our movement because of the strength of these signatures. Send a text to three friends in our cohort right now and tell them to verify their IDs before the department meets again.

Student Number 1527460, 3rd year Mechanical engineering with Aeronautics. I agree with the extension for the deadline.
To enable us to do our best work, the dissertation deadline should be moved back to after Easter, in line with many other courses and universities. This will spread the workload more evenly. Jonathan Stead 1535387
With the mismanagement of assignments deadlines I believe an extension to the dissertation deadline will give more time to manage more modules.
The assignments being back to back lives no time for research and makes it harder to run simulations.
I feel like the current deadline for dissertation is way to early due to other assignment deadlines, which is putting too much pressure and stress on me woth regards to my acedamics. If the dissertation deadline is extended, it would help all of us to draft our final year projects with greater efficiency. I hope this matter is taken further and suitable action is taken. Thank you very much.
