we got the news that shes officially been expelled from albright. i honestly dont know how to thank you all for helping make this campus safer for everyone. keep looking out for each other because we proved that we dont have to just sit back and take it.

On Tuesday, September 30th a snapchat video of Carly Dickinson in black face making racist and offensive remarks to African Americans and the Black Lives Matter movement circulated the internet. This petition is to protect the many African American students who attend and have attended Albright College from such a student with an ignorant and harmful mindset.

im honestly blown away by how many people are stepping up to demand accountability for this. the momentum keeps building and its clear that our community isnt going to just look the other way.

im still getting messages from students about how unsafe they feel on campus and its honestly heartbreaking to read. im talking to some people about the next steps to make sure the school actually hears us because this cant just be ignored.

If you are a racist, then that's your business, but when you act on that racism, then you must suffer the consequences. She should be expelled.
Albright was always a welcome and diverse home for me. It's a shame that students are admitted who don't prize that experience and who the act completely contrary to that goal.
My daughter attends Albright and was very, very upset about the conduct of these students...,There is so much more to this than students just not knowing the repercussions of such acts...I'm just praying that God shows mercy on the ingnorance that is controlling our country...,
Albright is a community that represents diversity and what makes us different from one another. If a person does not represent and support our values that we as a college hold then she shouldn't be allowed to stay amongst and continue to be a piece of what represents Albright College.
This video was apauling! The student should be expelled from Albright. With the state that our nation is in concerning racial injustice, her actions contributes to the problem. I hope that she will be made an example of what not to do to due to the sensitivity of the climate in our country. This may go national and will give Albright a negative look.

Racism and blatant disregard of another race cannot, and WILL NOT, be ignored. Her actions are truly ignorant and offensive. She does not deserve to be an Albrightian.
