We demand that incoming Boston University assistant professor named Saida Grundy is terminated from her position at Boston University. With the blunt racism and sexism that Saida Grundy has expressed as well as the lack of remorse for her radical racist and sexist position we deem it impossible for her to fairly teach all students from all creeds at Boston University. Her radical idealism has created counter productive learning environment at Boston University and has tarnished the namesake of Boston University. Further more, with Saida Grundy continuing to be included in the Boston University staff we deem Boston University a insubstantial and academically discriminatory University.

UPDATE:

Professor Grundy of Boston university has now recently made comments bashing a rape victim simply because she was "complaining about it". Please sign this petition to terminate her position at Boston University, a professor should never have these kinds of viscous idealisms and continue to teach. THIS PROFESSOR HAS NOW ATTACKED WHITE MALES,WHITE WOMAN, THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY AND RAPE VICTIMS AND CONTINUES TO BE ACTIVE ON THE BOSTON UNIVERSITY STAFF.

We just hit the one hundred mark. It has been a long and draining week but seeing this many people recognize the toxicity here keeps me going.

We just hit one thousand signatures and the weight of this is starting to sink in. This battle feels exhausting but seeing this many people demand accountability keeps me going.

I suppose if a similarly qualified assistant professor made similar comments about black males or BLACKNESS or refusing to buy anything in a black owned store during Black History month, she/he would have been treated with the same courtesy? I doubt it.

Racism is racism and shouln't be taught. What if her comments were made with Black substitued for White? Would CNN have picked up the story first? Acceptance of Racism means that BU will be identified as Bigot University by all college alumns.

She needs to be fired. She has to instruct students of all races. Since she seems to have difficulty understanding this then she needs to be fired. Someone that can be more objective needs to take her place. This is bad PR for the university.

This type of behavior is unacceptable, whether coming from an African American woman or an 83 year old white male professor from Duke University. The difference only seems to be the Duke professor has been terminated this hateful women hasn´t !!??

Racism is not strictly tied to the white race. Racism spans all races; if you feel you can categorize all of the people of one race, than you're being racist. I would have thought a woman of her purported intellect would have learned that a while ago.

How can any of her white students, the males especially, expect to be evaluated fairly and without bias knowing that she will be immediately prejudiced against them? Whatever happened to "The content of my character, and not the color of my skin"?
