I oppose changing 12th Street to two way. It would more likely raise crime than lower it by increasing traffic and crowding along this narrow street. Convenience would be diminished by backing up traffic that would have to negotiate around parked cars. The quiet that our houses on this street experience would be impinged upon by more traffic and that would decrease our property values. Please don't sign the petition unless much better reasons are given (none of which I can conceive of at this time). Hopefully this petition will not become a cause of people who do not live on this street or neighborhood.
