Slow the trucks! Traffic calming along Cedar Grove Rd. & East Conley Rd.
Sign this petition to urge the Dekalb County Board of Commissioners and County Government to support and fund the proposed measures to slow vehicle and truck traffic along Cedar Grove Rd. and East Conley Rd. The traffic calming measures are intended to reduce/eliminate speeding trucks along this corridor through the use of easeabout installations accompanied by two roundabouts. All easeabouts are intended to be constructed within the county right-of-way (every 500-700 feet) thus eliminating the need to take any land. This project will come at no additional cost to the homeowners. We need your support to urge county leaders to implement the plan we believe to be a viable option to solve the challenges that have plagued our area for years. Sign today!

Reaching this level of visibility feels heavy because it confirms that I am not the only one exhausted by the constant noise and danger outside my window. The momentum is finally starting to look like potential leverage despite the long road ahead.

Yes please assist our neighborhood with this proposal. And kindly use your good office to repair or replace the bridge as a matter of priority. This long period of closure is unacceptable, especially since the two main alternative routes to go downtown Atlanta are via the two train tracks, that are regularly blocked with extremely long trains passing through. Thank you.
The road lanes aren't designed for large commercial trucks traffic. School Buses, residential vehicles, pedestrians and SCHOOL KIDS should not have to compete against these monsters in residential subdivisions to leave and get home safe.
No Trucks.. Fix Bridge on Cedar Grove .. The bridge is out due to Truck traffic.. Save our neighborhood .. We are raising our children here

please, let your neighbors know about this petition its very important that we get the bridge and have it safe guarded against overweight Trucks. If its heavier a school bus load of children it's to mush.

It is imperative that we slow the trucks down and keep those driving on our streets illegally off the streets. The damage to our streets causes our cars to be out of alignment, and I have seen 3 narrowly missed accidents as drivers ride in the wrong lane trying to avoid potholes.
