Earlier this year, the University promised to pay the Students' Union £138,000 to help it recover from a difficult financial period. Despite this promise, this amount has still not been paid, and in the last two weeks the SU has had to make staff redundant because of our financial position. We are now demanding that the University pays the money that they promised with immediate effect, before this situation has a detrimental impact on the high level of services that your SU offers.
