When someone is arrested for animal abuse, they usually just get off with having to pay a fine or, if the animals are lucky, up to a year in jail. I DO NOT think this is fair, and I think that these animals need to be given more rights! When someone is arrested and tried for animal abuse, they should be given a crueler sentence! With what they have now, they aren't taking it seriously! If it's more harsh, maybe they'll think twice. I think they should have longer prison time, bigger fines, and never be allowed to own a pet again! PLEASE SIGN THIS FORM! GIVE THESE POOR ANIMALS HOPE FOR A BRIGHTER TOMORROW!
