For too long we have honored the feline foe with the critically acclaimed expression "cool cat" in regards to "a cool and stylish person" (Urban Dictionary). The year is now 2017, and it is time to dismantle the established power structure. I, and rat friends alike, have had it up to my ears with cats being the animal of choice when associated with chic!! It is time to uplift the oppressed, and misunderstood. "Rad rat" celebrates the general radness of the most beautiful creature ever known to man, the humble rat. With little baby hands to tenderly caress you, little nose to sniff-sniff your ear, and the desire to lick your face until you, one day, are clean enough to the standards of a rat, these angels from God himself only want to love you, and let you train them to do cool-ass tricks. Anyway, sign the petition, share with your friends and integrate our new expression into the vernacular, Squeak Squeak!

I have drafted a formal proposal to present to the local regional dialect board regarding these terminology revisions. A linguistic consultant is reviewing our transition plan to ensure the shift toward rad rat gains institutional traction.

Marvelous argument. You are right, cool cats is overplayed, drawn out, and straight oppressing our underdog mighty rats. Our rats are R A D. out with the old, in with the New that's what I say! This is a groundbreaking argument on new wave slang. The time for rad rats is now.
