Its time for change! Please sign the petition to help us bring a drive thru to the Merrow Road, Dunkin' location in Tolland! Since the COVID pandemic, drive thru's are more important than ever. In the pandemic world we are living in today guests and restaurant employees prefer less personal contact; a drive thru at this location will resolve this issue! Guests are choosing to visit somewhere else that is more convenient and less hand to hand contact between guests and employees; we need to create the safe and convenient environment for customers so that we can continue to grow our business at this location!
The Merrow Road Dunkin' has been in operations for over 15 years and due to zoning regulations, a drive thru has never been permitted. Drive Thru's are permitted over the gateway (which is over the overpass where Big Y is)....not even a 1/4 mile away. - so close!
We are trying to change the zoning regulations in the Tolland Village Zone to allow for drive thru's, particularly at Dunkin' Donuts. There was a town meeting on August 26 to apply for a special permit application (PZ #20-11). They have continued it until next Monday, Sept 15. PLEASE pass this along to everyone you know - we need to show the support of the community to help make this change! Thank you!

We just hit 500 signatures and I am honestly overwhelmed by how much this community wants to fix the zoning rules on Merrow Road. Seeing this level of support for my team and our customers gives me real hope that the town will finally listen.

I've lived in Tolland since 2002. I feel buisness would operate much smoother at this location with a drive through. I also think alot of potential business in town goes elsewhere as many travelers go to the next exit for a quicker drive through transaction. Lets keep business in town!!
Help Tolland businesses survive and thrive, they do so much for this town. Not allowing a drive through was ridiculous when it opened and it’s even more ridiculous that years later this hasn’t already been corrected. Let’s get with the program and help Tolland businesses help the community.
The Pacheco family is a wonderful part of our community, donating and supporting numerous local charities. I would love to see the community support them now.
Drive thru’s are vital during this pandemic, I know how important it is as a health care worker. Less In person engagement is safer for me and my clients.
Why are we encouraging folks to continue to take their shopping dollars out of Tolland? We are our own worst enemy. Put the drive thru in.

Please please please. -all parents of small children who need coffee but don’t want to get everyone in and out of the car and add 30 minutes to our outing.
