To the Dutch Bros Coffee Development Team and San Pablo/Richmond Local Leaders,

We, the residents of San Pablo, Richmond, and the surrounding East Bay communities, are calling on Dutch Bros Coffee to open a new franchise location at the site of the former KFC on San Pablo Ave.

Currently, East Bay residents have to drive out of their way to locations like Martinez or Fairfield just to get their favorite Dutch Frizz, Rebel energy drinks, and cold brews. Our community is experiencing a massive gap in convenient, drive-thru specialty beverage options. 

The former KFC property is the perfect location for a Dutch Bros. It is situated along a highly trafficked transit corridor, already has the foundational infrastructure for a dual-lane drive-thru, and sits in a vibrant, commercial area eager for new economic growth. Repurposing this vacant fast-food site would not only satisfy a massive local demand but would also stimulate our local economy by creating jobs for young adults and increasing foot traffic to surrounding businesses. 

We love the positive vibes, fast service, and amazing drinks that Dutch Bros is famous for. By signing this petition, we want to prove to Dutch Bros corporate that the San Pablo area is enthusiastic, ready, and fully prepared to support a new location from day one!
