The town of Glastonbury has yet to approve extended permits for patio seating.
We are a small restaurant that has limited indoor seating and the 6 foot restriction makes it impossible to fill our tables.
Therefore the 100% capacity that Lamont approved does not help smaller restaurants like ours.
Plus, there are many people who are still not comfortable dining inside during these times which pulls even more business away.
2020 has been a struggle and we have been continuing to struggle because of this pandemic.
We want nothing more than to keep serving our friends, neighbors & this beautiful community.
Having our patio back for this season can help us to do this.
So please, sign this petition and tell the town of Glastonbury to approve our patio.
I honestly never thought we would see this much energy behind our little patio request but it feels like things are finally starting to shift. It is wild to think about how much this keeps growing because I was just staring at our empty tables earlier and feeling so discouraged until I saw all these notifications popping up on my screen.

Please just let them use the patio again. We love this place and want to see them actually survive this year.

The Spicy Green Bean needs that patio space just to keep the doors open. It makes zero sense to block them when people feel way safer eating outside anyway.

Allow the outdoor seating. It worked great last year and it will help this great business stay afloat.

100% capacity isn’t enough for small restaurants if the tables still have to be 6 feet apart. Give them the patio so everyone can continue to enjoy our favorite family restaurants!
