The school reversed the trouser policy. We won because we spoke up together. Thanks for staying loud until they listened.

DUKERIES acadamy ,are sending children home for wearing skinny/tight/fitted trousers, we as parents were not informed about the above trousers not being allowed before the start of new school year , I would therefore like to be able for the trousers to be worn until the need replacing and for children not to be punished by being sent home and parents having the expense of buying more trousers! After speaking to school today they are saying letters were sent out via post could I ask people to leave a yes/no comment to gauge how many letters were/ not received. Thanks !!

I did not get any letter about school trousers . At the end of the day ,As long as our Kids look smart and attend school, I don't see the problem , I think they need to sort there priority's out . Who would of thought that this school is more bothered about what they wear / how they look , then there education ......

It is wrong that two children can wear the same style of trousers, and one is deemed acceptable and the other not just because of how they fit. Is this not a form of discrimination, ostracising pupils that aren't the 'right' shape/size?

Think the school should have sent letters out before 6 week holidays. And they should be more concerned with teaching our children not looking at their clothing it's not fashion show!!!!

I have had a letter sent home about my child having tight trousers but her problem is is that she as larger thighs than the average girls so the trousers that I get her will all be to tight. I

Sending us home because of our trousers when we have GCSE classes and then complaining about our attendance? Should focus on bigger issues rather than our trousers. We look smart what's the problem?

My daughter was sent home last year while I was at work and had to sit at the door step till I got home luckily I wasn't out long but not the point when I have made sure she has gone to school. The trousers she wears doesn't distract anyone from learning so I don't see the problem.

If they are NOT checking the lads trousers then this is clearly a case of discrimination in LAW and maybe a solicitor should be consulted. ONE rule for ALL pupils or no rule at all. What are tje male teachers? pervs or something.
