I think that this petition is perfect my whole time in gryphon was 'you can't wear that' 'you can't have that eyeliner it's to dramatic' etc and in the end I didn't care but that's not the way to go. I'm signing this because it's pathetic that the 'I am me' campaign is up when we can't do that with us bossing us around!
I think that this uniform restriction is vile, education is far more important therefore maybe if the teachers were more strict on homework instead of the tightness and length of skirts/trousers there would be more kids passionate on school. Looks are not important when learning!!!!
I agree, these 'rules' are bloody pathetic. It isn't just limited to girls and the size of them either - boys are only allowed to wear trousers and girls of all shapes and sizes are being pulled up and made to feel ashamed about what they're wearing. They should be happy we're even attending!!
This also affects boys because we don't feel comfortable in baggy trousers, to be honest jeans look a lot smarter with a polo shirt than baggy trousers look.
And they are also not allowing year 11 students (me) out of school for lunch until they wear “the right” uniform. More like they are putting us in prison suits and then Letting us roam around sherborne
Dare I say, that if it is the school uniform that is the issue and is distracting the boys education, that perhaps certian teachers at the school should also keep an eye on their hemline!!

So many girls are being told that they are not allowed to wear makeup as it "distracts boys" that is disgusting! It is allowing girls to be objectified to the opposite sex... as are the trousers. The school encourage individuality yet they take away the things that make you unique and indoctrinate you!
