We, The residents of Islamorada, Hereby petition Islamorada, Village of Islands Council to not Re-Assess North Plantation Key for payment of Wastewater Facilities in other areas of Islamorada. In August 2005, North Plantation Key (Plantation Key Colony) Property owners were present at the Village Council public hearings and expressed concern that if we were assessed for our portion of the wastewater system prior to other areas that they would come back and re-assess our area for more money at a later date. We were assured by the Village Council at that time that if the vote was to assess North Plantation Key then in 2005 and not all of Islamorada that North Plantation Key would not be re-assessed later for more money. We the undersigned Islamorada residents hereby Petition the Islamorada Village Council Members to keep the word of the Village Council Government of 2005 and not re-assess North Plantation Key for more money for the wastewater treatment system.
