Final supporters
Since the 1920's Deep Ellum has been a staple of music, booze, work family and edgy artistry. Deep on Elm meant something and we need to hang on to that. Building these parks on Crowdus will invite the inevitable demise of our beloved part of the city, yet again. In order to keep the homless population down, the parking, traffic, etc. we have to put a stop to these "parks". Not to mention the potential for elevated crime rates and delayed response times for emergency responders. If you live in, work or just love the culture of Deep Ellum the way that we do you will sign, write and fight with us.

I have been staring at the Crowdus plans all morning and honestly it just keeps looking like a slow way to kill everything that makes this neighborhood actually matter. People keep messaging me stories about the early days and I think we really have to keep shouting until they stop pretending these parks are for us when they are clearly just for show.

We need Crowdus to remain a street to drive our trailer with equipment to be able to play clubs. Blocking this area off is a terrible idea.
Just STOP! One of the things that make great cities GREAT is their distinct neighborhood personalities fitting with their history. LEAVE DEEP ELLUM ALONE and STOP trying to turn it into something that nobody cares to see except money grubbing developers and tourist types. This city is being ruined at every turn.
Please dont set up these parks. Music has been a major part of the area. Making it difficult to load in and out to perform will make bands not want to perform. Please reconsider.
Not only will wit's end not be able to load bands in and out but we won't have a street for the garbage trucks to pick up our dumpster. This "idea" is detrimental to the entire neighborhood and will create a haven for panhandling and criminal activity
The Crowdus park is very inconvenient for the businesses and residents of Deep Ellum. This will also be hard for firetrucks, ambulances or police cars to get to certaim destinations fast should a permanent park be built. Thumbs down on this idea. Also, this is hard for bands to load in on certain venues on crowdus.
Please keep these parks out of Deep Ellum. In the past weeks when they were set up, there were more robberies and traffic issues than I've seen in 10 years. Please leave our city just the way it is and keep the parks out
Leave Deep Ellum alone. We like it just like it is. Depo Ellum has been my concrete park for 11 years now don't go and screw it up like you guys did with Lower Greenville. LEAVE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ALONE!!!!

Please keep this neighborhood and city landmark unadulterated. Focus on areas needing change and revenue generation- i.e. the proposed Oak Cliff highway park. Focus on what needs change. This area is thriving on its arts/music/weird culture. Keep it that way. The business owners and community have worked so hard to bring it back and preserve it.
