Since the 1920's Deep Ellum has been a staple of music, booze, work family and edgy artistry. Deep on Elm meant something and we need to hang on to that. Building these parks on Crowdus will invite the inevitable demise of our beloved part of the city, yet again. In order to keep the homless population down, the parking, traffic, etc. we have to put a stop to these "parks". Not to mention the potential for elevated crime rates and delayed response times for emergency responders.
