Dogs should be on the lead in all public places. Very few dogs are under full control of their owner when off the lead and besides being in a position to attack other dogs (that may be one lead), jump up on people who could be knocked over and injured (children and elderly). Bite people etc they are also a menace to wildlife off lead and owners conveniently do not see their dog defaecating when it is miles away from them. It would also prevent so many dogs going "missing"

Have been attacked personally by others dogs and my dog has by dogs not on leads and owners saying “ oh he’s ok “

I walk my dog here regular and not once have taken her off the lead. There are children and wildlife here dogs should be on the lead at all times.
