The number of dogs running loose in Zichron Ya'acov has reached an unacceptable level.

Children and adults are being bitten, chased into busy roads - and some neighborhoods are becoming 'no-go areas'.

Dogs roaming freely on the streets present a danger to adults, children and vehicle drivers alike.

It should not be the responsibility of the public to identify the owners of dogs which are roaming the streets.

The dog mess on the streets presents a health hazard, as well as being unsightly. This is not the image we want visitors to Zichron Ya'acov to remember.

We are requesting the Mayor of Zichron to take a firm stand against the dog-owners who continually flout the law, and to ensure that the dog catchers employed by the moatza are accessible, available when needed and responsive to calls from the public concerning dogs that are not either tied up or secure in their owners' homes or gardens.

We demand Safer Streets for the people of Zichron Ya’acov!

im hearing from so many people about their scary encounters in the streets lately and its clear this is a much bigger problem than i thought. im putting together a packet of these stories to drop off at the mayors office so they finally have to pay attention to what is actually happening in our neighborhoods.

i honestly never thought we would see this much movement when i first started this. seeing so many people speak up about the loose dogs in our streets just shows im not the only one frustrated by this mess.

My kid is terrified to walk to school because of the rottweiler that hangs out by the corner. something has to be done!

Finally!! tired of these irresponsible owners. keep your dog on a leash or keep them in your yard. simple.
