This petition is to try to enforce legislation dealing with dog on dog atatcks. I am taking this course of action as my dog was recently attacked by a dog off the lead, where the owner had let it wander off, and it attacked my dog, who was on it's lead, and seriously injured him. Dog on dog attacks incur no prosecution, unless private action is taken. The innocent victim has to incur all the cost and upset of these attacks. The police will not get involved. The irresponsible few make life a misery for the responsible dog owners out there. I believe that all dogs should be kept on leads at all times in public streets. If dog owners want to walk their dogs off leads, there are fields and parks where they can do so. Please sign this petition so that dog walking can become a pleasure again.
