Final supporters
Due to the popular, five-day-long religious festival of Diwali in the end of October, Hindu students will struggle to find time to revise for speaking exams which will be taken on the week from 31st October. We would like to request speaking exams to be postponed to a later date, so Soar Valley College students can enjoy their religious festival of Diwali without the stress of the speaking exams until later on in the month.

The school administration has not responded to our request yet but their silence proves why we must keep the pressure on. Send an email to the department head today to insist that our religious commitments are respected. Do not stop pushing until the exam date is moved.

Diwali is 5 days long and most of the celebrations happen in the evening. It would be hard for students to revise for upcoming speaking exam and celebrate their festival at the same time. Diwali comes once a year however the exam can be postponed.

my mum will literally kill me if i dont help with the cleaning and prayers this week. zero chance i can memorize french vocab during diwali.
