We, the Concerned Citizens of Forest Park District 91, do not feel all possible alternatives to the school restructuring proposal have been explored or researched. More time is needed to investigate thoroughly these alternatives that could continue the tradition of neighborhood schools in Forest Park. We don't believe that enough evidence has been shown to support the idea that the district grade level centers proposal is academically and socially beneficial to our students and fiscally responsible to the taxpayers of Forest Park. Therefore we do not support this proposal at this time:
The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the district board members to discuss alternative proposals. I am currently drafting a briefing document that outlines our specific requests for further academic and fiscal research.

Too many unanswered questions. Show us the real numbers. This feels like a huge mistake.

Seems like they are trying to hide something by pushing this through so fast. Slow down and look at other options.
