We, the residents of Spotsylvania call for the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors to reject the request by Team-Crucible for a zoning variance on lot 76-A-2 from agricultural to industrial to build a mercenary training facility.
Such a facility would physically threaten our homes, families and property, degrade our property values, be a noise nuisance, and this type of business has no place in such close proximity to our homes and businesses.
We further insist that the Board of Supervisors take all necessary actions to stop Crucible from proceeding with the building and use of this facility.
Any resubmission by Team-Crucible should require positive notification of any residence, property owner, or business within the 87 dBP counter line or Surface Danger Zone.

I have been spending my evenings reading through the stories you are sharing about how this facility would change our daily lives. It is truly humbling to see how many of you stepped up to protect our neighborhood when I honestly thought this would just be a quiet local conversation. I am working to make sure our concerns are presented clearly to the Board of Supervisors.

PROPERTY VALUES WILL TANK. WHO WANTS TO LIVE NEAR A TRAINING FACILITY???
seriously? a mercenary facility in spotsy? what are they thinking.
My kids play outside all day. I am not okay with gunfire going off constanty right down the road. VOTE NO.
This makes zero sense for our community. The board needs to listen to the people who actually live here.

we didnt move out to the country to have a mercenary camp in our backyards. keep this industrial nonsense out of residential zones!
