The students of Chapel Hill High School have worked hard through their 3rd and 4th years. We have been eagerly looking forward to prom, despite delayed communication and being forced to have it in March instead of the usual May. We have paid high student dues only to feel like very little has been done for us throughout the school year. After months of anticipation surrounding questions like, “Where is prom being held this year?” and “Where is all this money going?” the answers we received were extremely lackluster and undeserving. Not only is our prom being held at an airplane museum, but there is also no clear theme. Overall, it feels as though our prom has been rushed, undervalued, and given minimal thought or consideration. The Chapel Hill High School administration needs to be held accountable for this careless attempt at planning, and the first step is making them aware of how many students are genuinely upset with this decision.

are you kidding me? an airport hanger for prom?? we literally payed so much money for dues just for them to pick the cheapest place they could find. so annoyed right now
This lackluster of a location is basically a spit in the face for us seniors, compared to the previous location and the year before that one, this location is basically a huge warehouse with planes in them, there is also no actual theme. Shame on the chapel hill administration for such lazy work they put in for us seniors.
THIS PROM IS A TOTAL MESS. TOTAL DISASTER. THE STUDENTS PAID BIG MONEY, WORKED HARD FOR YEARS, AND WHAT DO THEY GET? AN AIRPLANE MUSEUM. REALLY? VERY LOW ENERGY PLANNING. NO THEME. RUSHED. SAD!! EVERYONE KNOWS IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER. THE ADMINISTRATION DROPPED THE BALL BIG TIME AND THE STUDENTS ARE RIGHTFULLY ANGRY. THIS PETITION IS STRONG, IT IS FAIR, AND IT IS NECESSARY. FIX IT NOW AND DO THE RIGHT THING. MAKE PROM GREAT AGAIN!!!
The other years they've had good locations. This will be my first prom. Why is there no theme? why is it such a bad location
Bro, Why we going to a hanger for hoco. But last year they got the aquarium. Talk about a downgrade. ON TOP OF THAT, we deserve better, horrible location for prom
