We call on our school to let students vote to have our own events and themes for prom, homecoming, and senior brunch. These are important traditions, and they should reflect the students who attend them. When students have a real voice in planning, the events feel more welcoming, more fun, and more meaningful for everyone.

Right now, these celebrations are a big part of school life, but they should not be decided without the people they are meant to honor. Prom, homecoming, and senior brunch are moments students remember for years. Giving us the chance to choose our own themes and shape our own events would build school spirit, encourage participation, and help students feel respected.

We are asking for a fair vote so students can decide what best represents our class and our school community. This is a simple change, but it makes a real difference. It shows trust in students, creates stronger traditions, and gives everyone a greater sense of ownership over the events they help make special.

We urge the school to support student choice and allow our own events and themes for prom, homecoming, and senior brunch.

It’s important for us as seniors to vote on our themes because it gives everyone a chance to have a say in events that represent our class. Voting makes the decision fair, helps us choose a theme that most people will enjoy, and lets us create memories we’ll look back on after graduation. Since senior year only happens once, it’s important that our class has a voice in making it special.

These events are extremely important and are OUR memories so we should be able to have a say in how we remember them. Senior year will already be stressful enough and these events are breaks from that stress. Allowing us to share our voice will strengthen the Spartan family.

As a parent, I fully support giving students a voice in choosing the themes for their prom, homecoming, and senior events. These celebrations are meant to honor the students, and allowing them to vote encourages responsibility, teamwork, and school pride. When students have a say in decisions that directly impact them, they are more engaged and excited to participate. It’s a valuable opportunity to teach leadership and collaboration while creating memories that truly reflect each graduating clas

It’s important because senior year is a special milestone, and everyone should have a say in how they celebrate it. That way, students can choose something they enjoy and are more likely to engage and participate, making the event more fun and memorable for everyone.
