Residents of Delaware County OK demand the commissioners establish laws to enforce animal control. Laws should include provisions for pet containment (leash laws) and spay/neuter. Pet and human safety should be of concern while addressing pet over population.

The stray and aggressive dog problem in Delaware county has to be addressed!
The city needs to inforce laws because there is no reason the shelter should be full and people just allowing there dogs to have more puppies contributes tremendously to the problem. When there is 20 dogs running lose in a neighborhood with no fees to the owner it just looks bad on the city.
Take care of the problem!

I was attacked last year by 2 pit bulls. I’ve lived in 5 other states both in the city & county who have better laws on animal control than Delaware County. The liability alone should be enough to make change.
