On November 20th, the TLC is going to vote into law a new set of rules that would allow app companies like UBER & Lyft to dispatch your affiliated drivers without your consent or knowledge.
This is going to kill your business!
Allowing anyone the ability to dispatch your drivers will:
§Unravel the industry by not allowing base owners to secure passenger trips.
§Make bases obsolete and powerless.
§Cause many bases to go out of business.
In a last minute effort to save our industry we ask everyone to not only sign the petition below, but reach out to City Hall, The Transportation Committee (lead by Ydanis Rodriguez), and the TLC and ask them to mandate the consent of the affiliating base to coordinate and maximize driver income.
Don’t allow the giants from the West Coast to come into our city and monopolize over 30 years of business.
Honor safety, accountability, and the right to chose in New York City.
The City that prides itself on small business is about to do away with small business!

In business for 30 yrs and this is what we have one to be taken over by companies that don't comply
It's about time for the Union to come back in this industry,with the Union this will never brake up the Industry
You built a system and we complied. Then an idea comes along and we are scorned. Beware unintended consequences.

We are a family-owned base that has operated for over 33 years and would love to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. We ask that the TLC stand by the single affiliation with mutual base agreements. Without these rules, we may never see year 35!!

For years we the small livery bases have server our community well. Now we see the great giants getting ready to snatch out livelihood from us.TLC stop this madness and give us a break
