As Town Residents and the proponents of the “Light Up Blue” Campaign we have an idea involving the roadway in front of the new police station on Tucker Rd. As a tribute to the men and women who serve this Town and as a landmark to anyone looking for the police station we the residents of Dartmouth, MA propose a small portion of the Tucker Rd be painted to honor law enforcement . The painted Thin Blue Line will show our pride and is a low cost but heartfelt gesture. Let’s be the first in the area ( that I am aware of) to honor our PD!

I just blinked and saw two hundred and fifty names on the list which is honestly wild because I started this on a whim over coffee. Thinking about that stretch of Tucker Road actually looking different makes me smile so keep pushing this out where people can see it because we really might pull this off.

This is such a small gesture to honor the men and women who everyday take an oath to save the lives of those around them despite the true reality that they risk their own. Thank you for your service Dartmouth Police Department members you are a true inspiration to me. May one day I lead as you do!
I support our wonderful police dept and, as a token of my support, would like to see blue lines painted to span the whole length of the new building.
I think this would be a wonderful idea in support of our law enforcement. To remind them and us of the support they have from eachother and their communities for risking their lives on a day to day basis to keep our towns and cities safe and secure.
I think this would be an amazing tribute to our men and women in blue. It should also be painted in front of the fire station's in town to show our support for them as well!!!
This is a great idea to show support to all the men and women, some are my family and friends.

Great idea!!! Even if it is for recognizing that officers need a space to come out of the lot quickly.
