Crystal has had over 21 number one hits including her signature song "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue". I was listening to her old records again last night and it just hits me how long she has been overlooked for this honor. It is honestly absurd that the Hall of Fame keeps ignoring such an iconic career even though these stories keep coming in from fans who grew up with her music on the radio every single day.

Definitely deserves to be a Hall of Famer, not to mention a Grand Ole Opry member. She's got the numbers, the longevity, sang many styles and all of them fantastically well. Perfect combination of talent and class. Absolutely Hall of Fame material.
Crystal Gayle has earned her place in the Country Music Hall of Fame. I hope that she will soon receive honor of being inducted into the CMHOF. I think she should have been inducted years ago. Her many charting records provide all the evidence for her inclusion.
I grew up listening to Country Music (my Dad being the top in UK) Crystal Gayle was the first Star that bridged the Country /Pop charts here with success.
This is certainly long overdue for what Crystal has brought to Country music and continues to Amaze crowds in concert.Always have been a huge fan but to see her perform live is a must for anyone who loves music regardless if it's Country or not.
I traveled with Crystal for 15 years. From 1990 to 2005. The best part of my life. A beautiful person. And great performer and definitely needs to be in the Hall of Fame
Love old country music like marty Robbins and kitty wells and George Jones and Tanya tucker and Johnny Cash and Johnny Horton George Jones had a called who going to fill their shoes well still waiting to music is not country music it is country rock so I have heard singers from Norway and Sweden and South Africa and they are true country music
This honour is long overdue

Crystal is a sofisticated country singer ,she alone pushed pushed the bounds of music and entertainment,and deserves to be recognized for it .
