Boulder to Birmingham, Poncho and Lefty, Till I gain control again... Maybe Emmylou didn't write 2 of these songs, but she owned and delivered them like no other!
It's been 49 yrs since I heard Emmylou sing w/ Gram. It's been a pleasure to meet her, even more pleasure to see her stay well & continue to sing her magic. It's time. It's just time!!! She deserves to be in the RRHOF.
Emmylou is a woman who belongs in the Hall. Just ask Mark Knopfler. Just ask Daniel Lanois. Just ask Willie Nelson. Just ask Robbie Robertson. Just ask Linda Ronstadt. Just ask Dolly Parton. Just ask Bob Dylan.
In '76 I played at the same bluegrass festival in Long Beach, CA. What a treat, the Hot Band backed her ...was something I will never forget...
the textures, the history, the songs & the duets and the hottest rambling red-dirt band ever. RRHOF bears shame for leaving our songbirds in the cold for so long. emmylou harris' induction is overdue.

Emmylou helped to widen the "term" country music in the 1970`, and if you think of her countless collaborations with class artists like Neil Young, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan and Gram Parsons among others, there`s no doubt she desrves it.
