Mayor Joel Greer thinks he can ignore us while our children are at risk every single day. We are reaching one hundred signatures and we need to shove this number in his face until he finally acts.

I personally live a couple houses down from Franklin elementary. The traffic during school times is rediculous. Hurried drivers who don’t pay attention. Limited parking and no supervision makes its very dangerous. We need cross guards before and after school!! Forever in our hearts Christian. We miss you
I strongly agree with Denise, I will have 2 grand-daughters at Franklin this year. I've also had a near-miss on my bicycle with a guy racing for the ultimate parking spot in front of Franklin, SLOW DOWN!
The scene picking up a child from school is chaotic and poses unsafe environment for our children/grandchildren crossing the street! Crossing guards would help keep our children safe! Candy Hunt
Let help keep all the kids safe at the school crossing areas. I know Hogland teachers and anson walk there students across the cross walks. If some schools do they all need to.
Our lives and the lives of our family will never be the same now that Christian, our nephew, is gone. Please help make sure this never happens to another family again with the implementation of such a small, simple thing.

In the Humboldt Iowa school district it is part of an associate/para job description. You shuffle all the associates so no one has it to do forever. I think 1-2 weeks per turn. Retired police officers also do it in Humboldt.
