The momentum behind this petition is proving that the district can no longer ignore the dangerous reality our children face every single day. Dent Middle School officials and local leaders have had their chance to act on their own and they failed these students. We are forcing their hand now.

Decker is a death trap. Why does it take a tragedy for the city to do their job? Fix this.
I drive that way every day and people fly down that street. Its only a matter of time until someone else gets hit. Do something.
Heartbroken for his family. This never should have happened. Kids deserve to get to school in one piece.
Need lights and guards now. Do not wait for another accident.
My kids walk right by that intersection. Its terrifying every single day. Put a crossing guard there now before another child gets hurt.

WAY TOO MUCH TRAFFIC ON THAT ROAD. NEEDS A LIGHT AND SOMEONE TO WATCH THE KIDS.
