My son was hit while crossing at cross walk in Norwich Ontario. The car almost hit father and daughter too. The father was able to swing daughter out of the way but as he did so with son - the car made contact with child as he was picked off the ground ripping him from his fathers grip.  If you are to look at this crosswalk either by knowledge in person or via street view google maps. You will se clearly how improperly it is set up giving families false sense of security. The walk crosses east to west across HIGHWAY 59. north side of Elgin Street. On one side of the walkway it leads safely to cross walks (westward) on east side it leads to an embankment about 4-6 feet up a grassy hill to where the sidewalk is - either forcing families to climb hill of walk down highway to cross street then back up to walk way. The risk is horrible even it good weather heaven for bid if riaining, cloud over or winter. Please note this is the major cross walk for priary school children - NO crossing guard no light signals, only paint on road with one SIGN indicating crosswalk.  My son was fortunately physically but emotionally done in around this. BUT when will te city take action so a child does get killed. as hundreds use this walkway daily.  Please help my son get justice for all.
