THEY OFFICIALLY APPROVED THE DATA CENTER PROJECT AND WE WON!!!! I AM ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY BY THE STRENGTH OF THIS COMMUNITY BECAUSE WE FINALLY SECURED THESE JOBS FOR NEWARK!! WE WILL DEFINITELY KEEP WATCHING TO ENSURE THE CONSTRUCTION STAYS FULLY COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT.
Because I want to see quality jobs created in the most environmentally responsible way possible, I support the creation of a state-of-the-art self powered data center on the University of Delaware's STAR Campus.
Delaware needs to look at the facts of this proposed project. We need to draw more jobs and make the technology sector a staple of our economy like the credit card industry we once enjoyed. This is a LEED certified facilitiy which will ensure the most efficient and sustainable design. Delaware has a great opportuntity with this proposal, let not blow it and give it to another state.

Anyone with the engineering intelligence to design a natural gas-fired power plant that passes muster in today's "environmentally responsible" landscape has my admiration. I like the benefit the City will receive, and I like the posture the City is taking towards Newark's future. Welcome to Newark, TDC.

I live less than .1 miles away from the proposed site. We desperately need the jobs, tax revenue, and for the NRAPPs to go away.

Absolutely support the Data Center. Working in data centers for nearly 20 years I can see the technological advances this has to offer and how it could change data centers in the future. We need to have this groundbreaking design in our town first! I'm boggled how people had not problem with the pollution from Chrysler all those years but are complaining about this design which is far cleaner and efficient than any car plant.
