The proposed new Jetty will be an alteration to the existing fuel pontoon involving moving it further out into the river so it is afloat all the time and having a marina style foot bridge built to give access to it. This will mean that the river taxis can operate at all states of the tide and boats will be able to come alongside to refuel and pick up provisions at any time. We strongly believe that this will revitalise the river and be a huge benefit to all users of the river and it's facilities.

The Harbour Advisory Committee have recommended to the Cabinet that the proposed new jetty should not be built If you want to try to change this decision please add your name to this petition.
