This is a petition to stop the ban of jet skis on the river Tweed in Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. As you may be aware of a current petition to enforce a bylaw prohibiting Jet-Skis from the river. This is due to people complaining about endangering the wildlife, as most jet skiers like my self will know that if you come across a swan etc u would slow down and keep a safe distance. The are other users to the tweed estuary such as speedboats and also canoes and rowing boats but nothing is said about these users. There arent many places in Northumberland you can launch a jet ski from. So in peoples interest who use the river may want to sign the petition to support the stop to a ban of the use of skis on the river, as many people will know jet skis an other motorized craft have been using the river for years and this would spoil it for future generations!!!
